We were put in a smoking room when nonsmoking was requested during reservation and check in. The room smelled like stale cigs and dirty feet. At midnight we were able to move to a nonsmoking. Bathroom was ok.

Good rates, helpful, courteous, knowledgeable employees (and these are hard to find in New Mexico) and good location.

If you're using hotels.com to book this place, beware. The description says that this hotel has a bar, which is not true. We stay here for 7-10 days every year when we visit family & friends. This place is clean, quiet, well-maintained, friendly, and it's convenient to our family.

I enjoyed the hotel. Lily, our check-in person, was supremely nice. The hotel was adequately cleaned as was the room. I noted what everyone else wrote, and was prepared for the worst, but it was surprisingly not as bad as I had imagined. They even had a mini-breakfast: bagels, muffins, o.j., coffee, tea, with condiments to match, for free.

The rates for our trip during 4th of July was excellent at $45 a night and $5 for internet during the entire stay. Room was clean, fairly updated. Laminate wood entry, kitchen, bathroom.
