What a great find! Pets were welcomed with just a small fee. Room is large and has two double beds. Cable tv is one modern amenity, and Kathy (one of the two owners) could not have been nicer. We've been traveling since April 5th, so we've stayed in lots of motels. This bed was the most comfortable of them all. Loved the retro look of the decor!

For 1 night even more was nice, the coffee shop was great in the morning, the lady was helpful and makes a great capachino. Nice town. Not far off I-40 but in a nice quiet area.

Historic Route 66 Motel is a terrific find! The rooms were large, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and thought this was an EXCELLENT value. The coffee shop on site has a variety of breakfast offerings as well as coffee, tea, and cocoa for a reasonable price. We would definitely stay here again.

If you like retro, excellent rates, comfortable beds and good location off I-40 then this is the place to choose. We plan of staying here on our return trip home in the spring.
