Room was very poor, wallpaper peeling off the walls. Bathroom very ugly and shower not fit to use. Ceiling in shower stall looked as though it had mold on it, It definitely had a leak stain on it from an upper unit. The floor tiles were cracked and dirty. On another note, we were unknowingly overcharged and they gave us... More

My daughter and I had several rough stays in Motel 6's on our vacation so we cancelled our reservation with them and opted for Travelodge since we had great stays in Albuguerque, NM and Kingman, AZ. We booked our reservation for two queen beds/non smoking while on the road with the 800 number since the local one wasn't a working... More

Sorry to hear of the demise of the Tucumcari TraveLodge. It used to be one of our mainstays on trips on Route 66 and convenient to Del's Restaurant, which I hope have maintained their standards. Last time visited a few years ago, the TraveLodge was OK except swimming pool in need of some maintenance and the office had a strong... More

While in Cheyenne, I booked this hotel through Hotwire.com (which I might add, was the first time I used that service) so that I'd know where I was spending the night after another long day of driving. First, I was very disappointed in the Hotwire.com service because they claimed this property was a 2 star place. I do not consider... More

Arrived to find the woman at the front desk unfriendly and incompetent. Once I finally had my key I found the a/c off in my room, in August. I immediately went back and asked for a different room and was told that they leave the a/c off on purpose. She told me that "it would cool off in a few... More

I called this hotel to made our reservation with a woman named Alice. Our room was to be a King size smoking suite. We arrived earlier than expected and decided to take a chance to see if our room could possibly be ready. It took 4 times to ring the service bell to get someone to come out (according to... More

They say it has been remodeled, but I can not see where. It is old and worn. We were suppose to get breakfast from 5-9 but at 7:30 the door was still locked. I would not stay here again. It was quiet, the bed was fine and we enjoyed walking the area of old Rt 66, but would stay elsewhere... More

What an ODOR.... so with the time, you accomodate with that... too tired and night, to try to find something else. No wifi working ( snow ? ) Arriving... More

I stayed at the Tucumcari TraveLodge on the night of July 30, 2003. Normally when it comes to inexpensive lodging in this city, I go for the Blue Swallow, but wanted a motel with a pool, which was included in their listings as I have stayed there in the past. Well, by this time the pool was no longer there,... More
