We were collected by Obie (one of the managers) from the airstrip - Delta Air are rather unreliable so try to reserve a time well in advance, they messed us around and we ended up arriving late at camps every flight). The camp is awesome and the staff were exceptional. Rooms are magnificent and you almost feel you have too... More

Savute Safari Lodge was our second of three stops on our first safari. We were blown away by the location, which is literally right over an elephant watering hole. The rooms were incredibly spacious and sturdy. They're less like a permanent tent and more like a hotel suite/cabin. The view from our deck was amazing. The staff were incredibly warm... More

The rooms are a great size, tasteful, very comfortable and taking a shower while watching elephants is something special. Lots of windows overlooking the waterhole make the afternoon rest easy. The evening meal often started with the staff singing, something I really enjoyed. The food that is offered family style is tasty with healthy choices always available. Watching animals come... More

After a warm and welcoming greeting, we were escorted to our cabin ( # 1) at Savute Safari Lodge. It really knocked our socks off! What superlative accommodation! A huge deck with views in two direction allowed us to watch the constant gathering of animals coming to drink such as elephants, zebra and cape buffalo. We spent three glorious nights... More

Our 3 nights at Savute Safari Lodge in mid March 13 were the highlight of the 3 camps we visited in Botswana (Linyanti Bush Camp,Savute & Pom Pom) & our time in Kruger. Would not say it has an intimate feel but it certainly has a friendly & welcoming feel due to the great team which run it. The animals... More

We chose Savute Safari Lodge as it is smack bang in the middle of the Savute section of Chobe National Park. It did not disappoint one bit. The accomodation is absolutely stunning - with a lounge and a massive balcony. Lovely and clean, lion embroidery on the linen. The bathroom was very nice and spacious. The evening meals were eaten... Savute Safari Lodge offers the ultimate game viewing experience. Our guide Baba managed to show us more animals than we have ever seen in one area before. Added to this the lodge itself offers excellent accommodation and meals. Our hostess Anjera was charming and I liked the way she was to be found everywhere helping the chefs, the waitresses and... Wonderful staff make this luxury lodge Michelle and Mc run it brilliantly. Having stayed at okuti and la roo la tau expectations were very high and savuti exceed them on all counts. Savute Safari Lodge is a wonderful place. The cabins are clean, well-decorated, and well-appointed with a large en suite bathroom with toiletries, sofa, mosquito netting over the comfy beds, and a huge deck to watch the elephant watering hole. The bar is always open and there is a reading library and a pool. MC and Michelle, and all the staff... More
