John and Suzanne are terrific hosts and very personable. They made us feel at home. If you are a baseball fan, want to relax and have a good breakfast, this is a very good place to stay. When we arrived they gave a small map and recommended different local restaurants. The museum, restaurants and the lake are within walking distance.... More

Me, my wife and son had a great time in Cooperstown, made even better by our stay at the Baseball Bed and Breakfast. John and Suzanne are wonderful people and great hosts! I've already recommended it to friends and family!

We wanted a baseball related stay in Cooperstown as we were getting married at the Baseball Hall of Fame and this place fit the bill. John and Suzanne were the most wonderful hosts and made us feel right at home. There are so many baseball related memorabillia around the house and many have personal stories attached to them that John... More

Our family of four stayed on a Friday, one of three reserved evenings at this inn. I pride myself on thoroughly researching our accommodations on TA before booking; however, this time I guess I was overwhelmed by the excitement of all the baseball memorabilia advertised and did not pay attention to the number of single reviewing members. Indeed the breakfast... More

John and Suzanne run a wonderful B&B. My husband and I enjoyed a comfortable 2 night stay. We stayed in the Ty Cobb room which is spacious with a nice size bath and comfortable bed. Suzanne's coffee cake was delicious! John and Suzanne had their daughter and son-in-law visiting and were kind enough to have us join in their family... More

This is our second stay. Last year we stayed here when our son played at Cooperstown Dream Park. Great location 10 minutes from Dream Park and perfect to be close to downtown Cooperstown for the rest of the family. This time we came for the 2012 Cooperstown Film Festival at the Baseball Hall of Fame. Short walk to the Hall... More

This b&b was a special and wonderful place to spend a special occasion getaway. The house was very clean, well-maintained inside and out,and was tastefully decorated, with many interesting antiques and baseball themed decor. The owners were very knowledgeable and passionate about the Opera, baseball, and other local attractions, restaurants, etc. but were not intrusive in any way. Parking was... More

this was my second time at the Baseball Bed & Breakfast and visit to Cooperstown. My girlfriend and I had a relaxing two day stay and highly recommend visiting this baseball themed house while you are in town. It's a five minute walk to the National Baseball Hall of Fame and all the shops. The owners, Suzanne and John are... More

We stayed here for a weekend in early July. The B&B is a fairly large home and is well-maintained. Sue (the owner) and her husband were hospitable and friendly without being intrusive. The breakfast was plentiful and very good. The location is great-- only about a 10 minute walk or less to the Hall of Fame and many stores and... More

Came to Cooperstown at the last minute to see Armide at the Glimmerglass Festival. Did not have a reservation but were lucky to get directed to this B&B after stopping at a nearby hotel that was full. The owners are wonderful and very friendly & helpful despite the fact that we arrived very late (10:30PM). The room was large and... More

Located in the heart of Cooperstown, Baseball Bed and Breakfast can be easily found at the 1883 Italianate "sunny yellow house with white trim" on Chestnut Street. The 2/3-acre property has a lush green lawn in the rear (suitable for a game of catch) and a deck rimming the rear of the house where breakfast is served (weather permitting) and guests can sit on rockers to spend some quiet time reading or simply enjoying the scenery before they leave for the Glimmerglass Festival or other attractions in Cooperstown. Each of the bedrooms has a private bath and is appointed in honor of one of the original five inductees to the Hall of Fame: Cobb, Ruth, Mathewson, Johnson and Wagner. ... more   less
