We were going to Cooperstown and didn't want to spend a fortune on accomodations. The Bayside Inn & Marina is 10 minutes by car to Cooperstown, right on Lake Otsega. Our room and the entire facility was very clean and comfortable. It is outside of town but it is definitely a manageable distance. “Nice and simple in Cooperstown”

We stayed over Memorial Day weekend. Our room was modest but clean with good mattress and a small fridge. We had cleaned towels every morning. It was quiet. The front desk staff was nice and helpful. The lake is great. It wasn't to far from town and restaurants. I will stay there again!

I don't want to repeat what everyone else said on the positive review because I agree the only drawback for me was the location it's about 7 miles from Cooperstown but the view of the lake is beautiful and the price is reasonable.

“Simple and Comfortable”

The Bayside is not fancy but provides a clean and comfortable accomodation overlooking the lake. It is very convenient to Glimmerglass but about 6 miles out of Cooperstown village. The off-season rates are quite reasonable. The staff were personable and helpful in providing dining recommendations.
