What a great place to enjoy the experience of folks who love art, the beauty around you and the fabulous food. You can meander around several acres of georgious landscape plus the wonderful 1889 Inn and onsite accommodations outside of the main house. Your hosts, Kim and Mark, welcome you and make you feel right at home. Our workshop instructor... More

Nice setting. Quiet area. However at a price tag of $160 (inc. tax) was just a bit overpriced for condition of room. We stayed in room 20, in Carriage House. Room was not just "musty" smelling, but had a distinct dirty toilet odor, which lasted all night, even though toilet was not the cause and bathroom/bedroom were very clean. Water... More

We encourage our guests to tell us immediately if they have any issues with their room, unfortunately most wait until after they have left. This means it is too late for us to try to fix anything while they are here! In any case, I'm glad that these issues have been identified so that we can now fix them right... More

Salads were provided for lunch if ordered ahead of time. Check out the workshops, I found a large variety of art intresents available. They have a quilting... More

My regular stays at Greenville Arms are as one of the international tutors who teach workshops here, but this is a job many would kill for, and the host/Head Chef Mark La Polla and Kim, his Director run an excellent, homely, efficient service for even 'normal' people who simply come to have a holiday, or are passing through. The walls... More

Really, it was perfect. My girlfriend and I stayed here Columbus Day weekend. A lot of Inns/B&B's were booked far in advance for that weekend, but we were able to easily make a reservation here. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant and the breakfast was GREAT. Seriously, some of the best pancakes I've ever eaten. I found the grounds... More

We hadn't been to Catskills for 10 years since owning a house up there. We decided to spend Saturday night before heading up to Albany. We stayed at Greenville Arms which was alway known as an art workshops Inn..and still is. It was 2 miles from our weekend house. We paid $150 and tax for a really dated room in... More

We always appreciate candid feedback of our guests impressions of our rooms and facilities because we are constantly working on updating and improving our 120+ year old inn. The update process goes as fast as the budget will allow! It is our priority to make our inn a beautiful and comfortable place to stay. Also due to the age and... More

I recently spent a week at the Greenville Arms B & B. I was attending an art workshop facilitated by Robert Burridge. It was a "week of bliss".. Kim and Marc La Polla would do cart wheels to create comfort for the 20 plus individuals who visited and painted there that week. It was glorious.. Marcs senasational chocolates and culinary... More

I recently gave birth to a beautiful baby girl; and me and my partner were very exited to spend the Christmas holiday upstate with my Aunt's family in Greenville. She had mentioned the Greenville Arms was nearby, and it turned out to be a perfect place to stay; especially on baby's 1st Christmas. We arrived Christmas Eve, and the historical... More

The Greenville Arms 1889 has been hosting art workshops for a number of years now and it is a great destination for artists, but non- artists can certainly enjoy the ambiance of this beautiful property as well. I have been three times and each time request a room in the cottage, which has a charming gas fireplace and jacuzzi tub... More

I spent two days at the Greenville Arms and found it was exactly what I needed to relax and shed the stress of city living. The cabin was clean and comfortable. It was the best night's sleep I've had in a long time. Breakfast was delicious, a choice of eggs or pancakes and a buffet of fresh fruit, greek yogurt... More
