I stayed here for two nights in a pretty attic room. Breakfast was the highlight: three or more courses, with homemade mango bread, blueberry scone, baked peaches, omelette or waffle or pancake. Behind the hotel is a lovely little walk past some waterfalls: ask Lynette to show you. She is lovely and very welcoming. I would never want to stay... More

A beautiful house, comfortable rooms, generous and kind host - what more could you want? Lynette and her staff are just lovely, I felt so welcomed and well cared for. I was in Ithaca for a week to visit dear friends who had just had a baby and WHM Inn was the perfect place to stay - ideal location downtown,... More

We made a quick decision to go to Ithaca and look at a house for sale. Lucky for us, there was one room left for two nights. "Wow" doesn't begin to describe our good fortune. Lynnette greeted us with the kind of genuine warmth so rarely shown these days. She handed us a cool drink and some cookies, directions we... More

You'll love the William Henry Miller Inn. Original tiffany glass, persian rugs, glowing wood, fascinating architectural details, quite a grand grand center staircase, lovingly restored by the Owner/Innkeeper, who is worth all the raves she gets on this website (she offered to iron my clothes!). And if the 1880s architecture and wonderful Innkeeper does not turn you into a convert,... More

Even though I've owned this beautiful house for thirteen years, I need to be reminded of its beauty. You did just that---thank you! This is such a wonderful house and the twelve inch thick brick walls keep it so quiet. And, we're so glad that you liked our breakfasts even though you're not a breakfast person! Hope you'll come back... More

My wife and I came to Ithaca, and after a night further out of town we decided to find something closer. Lynette was able to give us a room on short notice and we loved it! My wife eats gluten and dairy-free, and the inn even provided her with special desserts that were amazing! The breakfasts were so yummy. This... More

We are so happy that you decided to stay with us and also thrilled that you enjoyed your stay. It's our goal to expand our "recipe repertoire" regarding special dietary requirements and we do try to keep lots on hand. One of our very favorite cakes is dairy free and you would never know it. A sweet bread that we... More

We just returned from "ithacalovesteachers.com" week and enjoyed a wonderful 3 night stay at the William Henry Miller Inn. The Inn was clean, comfortable, warm and charming. The daily breakfast was outstanding and the nightly desserts were scrumptious. The best part though, was Lynette (and her lovable dog Millie). Lynette made us feel like we were visiting family (the ones... More

It was such a pleasure to have you stay with us and I laughed out loud when I read about "the relatives that you like"! We sure are glad that we fit into that category! Hoping that you'll all come back during the great weather. You'd find things to do every minute. Thank you again! And Millie says thank you... More

Well, you two are just two kind! Innkeeper of the Year, indeed! We just have fun and hope that our guests do too. In fact, breakfast is our most fun and I just finished making a fresh blueberry cream cheese pastry roll. Wish you were here to share it! More

My husband and I stayed at the Inn for two nights while in town to visit our granddaughter. Lynette was a wonderful host, room was comfortable, and breakfast tasty. We particularly appreciated that there were choices at breakfast from cereal and milk to pastries along with a pick of a sweet or savory hot course. Our room was large and... More

Ithaca is a great town and it is wonderful that we all can work together to keep guests happy. We're also glad that you enjoyed our breakfasts. When we first opened, we... More

The WHM Inn exceeded all our expectations. We spent four nights in Ithaca and would have been happy to stay another four nights. The hospitality of the staff was superior. Lynette, Dave and the crew were always onhand and happy to assist us with our queries, from giving us hand typed notes to local attractions (waterfalls, malls etc) to even... More

It was a delight to have you stay with us. We're so glad you enjoyed the breakfasts and the desserts (Dave says he's sorry......)! Laundry is something we really do as a courtesy. We honestly never thought about it as part of the rate but know that when guests have been on the road for a while, they should enjoy... More

My husband and I stayed here while attending a conference at Cornell. Our visit began without much to-do, and without much 'introduction' - but our stay was really quite wonderful. Our room was very comfortable - very spacious, lovely linens, nice amenities. (We just didn't have enough time to spend in it.) The cooked breakfasts were a real high point... More

Thank you for your lovely words about the Inn. Dave and I had a long discussion about your arrival. Normally, my job is "front of the house" and Dave takes care of all homemade breads, cooking, and "back of the house". I was out of town for a meeting and when you arrived, there was some confusion about two different... More
