We had a little cabin in the back, very quiet, clean, hot water. No kitchen stuff (but we weren't looking for it). Very helpful manager. It's about a 10 minute walk to the center of Lake George, where the restaurants are. Very easy to recommend this one.

Would have rated it 3.5 stars, but rounded up. Staff seemed friendly enough. Stayed in a cottage with my husband. Inexpensive, no frills lodging, but I can't say one bad thing about this place. Would stay here again if I was in the area. (Also, not a bad distance away from the Lake George downtown.)

My 5 year old daughter and I spend the weekend at the Brookside Motel in one of the cozy cabin units in the rear of the property. They each have their own porch, complete with hanging plants (which is a beautiful touch). Each cabin also overlooks a picturesque mountain creek. This place has both cabins and motel. Cabins are cute and clean, but a bit old. There was a problem with our cabin bathroom after our first night stay. Owners were very accomodating and apologetic and offered us a king size suite for the remainder of our weekend stay. King size suite was very comfortable, clean and spacious. No complaints... More
