My husband and I went to the Catskills for a couple get-away week end. We did not stay at the hotel at La Duchesse Anne but had dinner there on a Saturday night, off season. Before I even start this review, and as a disclaimer: we are french born foodies now living in NYC, who often cook ourselves. So we... More

We have never stayed there, because we live so close. We have dined there on special occasions. Absolutely love the atmosphere and the food there. My treat for my birthday is a lovely diner there by the fireplace. They even opened one year just for my husband and myself to dine there for my birthday. It has been 4 years in... More

We spent three nights/ four days at La Duchesse Anne and enjoyed every minute of it. Fab and Aimee were hospitable and treated us like we were guests in their house. The rooms are charming and full of character. There's a great wrap around porch and a fire pit outside. There was even a cat that slept with us at... More

I can't recommend La Duchesse Anne enough. My husband and I spent the weekend in Mount Tremper and this B&B was the highlight of the trip. The owners couldn't be more friendly and their two sons were the happiest kidsweI've ever seen! The rooms were cozy, although a little chilly (bring a sweater!). If you stay here you MUST have... My boyfriend and I happened upon La Duchesse Anne one night after doing some snowshoeing in the Catskills, and we keep coming back. Every time we do we notice something, whether it is the welcoming warmth of the caretakers, the absolutely phenomenal food, the beautiful antiquity of each room (and the inn in general) that makes us want more. Our... More

We had come through a very crowded Woodstock late on Saturday afternoon, hadn't booked anywhere, and found the hotel at a fork in the road. We were welcomed by the family and pet into a 150 year old building which they are gradually renovating. Our room was certainly showing a bit of wear and tear and but was comfortable enough.... More

We stayed at the La Duchess Anne for one night and were a little surprised. The service is phenomenal, they treat you really nicely and they always have a smile in their faces. But they need to invest more in the place. The house is run down and the rooms are dated. This is a basic bed and breakfast. Don't... More

Excellent food and delightful hosts. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was basic (no tub) but very clean - most important, there was no shortage of hot water. We felt relaxed and cozy in our room and then walked into the charming, elegant (yet unassuming) dining room for an outstanding dinner. The doors were open to the... More

This place is great. The owner Fabrice is a Gourmet French chef. I've been here twice and had an amazing stay both times. More
