We visited Zanzibar in April 2012. We were looking for an affordable/luxury holiday anywhere in the world for a week at the last minute. We settled on Zanzibar and Sea Cliffs. Picking a hotel in Zanzibar is pretty difficult as there are so many and all the reviews on tripadvisor have similar ratings. Sea Cliffs is on the west coast... More

We have been to many resorts during the last few years. Sea Cliff Resort would be right up there with the best. This was our third time in Zanzibar. It was also the most pleasing one. The resort is pure luxery. The facilities 5 star and the service even better. Where will you find better staff? The resort are blessed... More

We visit the Sea Cliff Resort and Spa in February. It was most impressive. It is a tranquil location with a lot of activities. The resorts layout is incredible. The resort was full, but felt empty...it is so spacious. The view from our room was 180 decrees. The sunsets were complimented by fresh and attractive cocktails. We enjoyed those on... More

I agree with the previous review, the hotel is overrated! The sea view rooms DO NOT have sea view , my room was initially std room 520 . The room in my opinion was actually garden as all I could see was the leaves of the palm trees. We were next to a honeymoon couple in room 519. I WILL... More

Sea Cliff Resort and Spa has it all. Rooms are a touch small, but has splendid views. The food was interesting and well prepared. The lunches includes the choice of either a buffet or an extensive a la carte menu. The meals are well presented and of a high quality. The service are good with a lot of smiley faces,... More

In December we took a short sweet flight across to Zanzibar-Sea cliff resort not knowing what to expect, and were we pleasantly surprised. Zanzibar is well know for its friendly, loyal and warm people, something we experienced first hand- from kitchen staff to waiters, and our own local "Riaan van die Beeld", we were constantly being looked after and the... My partner and I spent 5 nights here and took the all inclusive package that was full board including drinks. We both work very hard and this escape was just what we needed to recharge the batteries. The staff were amazing, I have never come across so many smiling people in my life!! The food was great buffet style with... More
