I was returning to the North Shore of Long Island for a 25th High School reunion and really wanted to stay on the North Shore, near the town I grew up in. My wife and I stayed here April 07. I have no idea how the owner could e construed as rude. He told a lot of stories when we were down at breakfast but I can't consider that intrusive. Certainly when we were up in our rooms and in the common spaces our time was our own. By the way there... More

We spent just one night at the Carr B&B after spending a couple days in New York City. The change of pace was dramatic and the seclusion and quiet on Eaton's Neck was welcome. Carr B&B was quite find on the north-central shore of Long Island. It's on Eaton's Neck, which is a little island off Long Island. The drive to the B&B was beautiful and the views of the Atlantic were breath-taking, to say the least. The B&B is on an estate of sorts and you can see the ocean and some hills... More
