We found this lovely B&B at the last minute on our badly planned 'mini-moon' and it was a superb find. The hosts, Mary Ann and Robert are warm, friendly and welcoming without intruding on privacy. The attention to detail is 5 star with beach towels, beach chairs and passes ready for guests to borrow, an afternoon snack (homemade lemonade and... More

This place was soo cozy. MaryAnn and Robert were wonderful hosts. MaryAnn is a bundel of joy and Robert was a barrel of laughs. The bed, pillows was so soft. The house is immaculate! They were both very knowagable about the wineries. The stay was quite and peaceful. And when you came back to the room, the bathroom was cleaned... More

I took my Mom away for a "girls" weekend in Southold and stayed at Acorn for one of the two nights I was in town. The rooms were immaculate, the breakfast was healthy and delicious, and Mary Ann has an encyclopedic knowledge of all the local attractions and events. Mary Ann and her husband go out of their way to... More

The house itself is nothing fancy, although some of the rooms are (I stayed in the cheapest room "Woodland Hideaway, but they make the most out of what they have. The proprietors are extremely nice and helpful, full of recommendations and suggestions and will help you with your plans. The house and room was absolutely immaculate! Breakfast and afternoon snack... More

We traveled to the North Fork for a wedding and fortunately for us, the hotel that all of the relatives were staying had been booked months ago. I found the Acorn Hollow on the Internet and made our reservation! Robert and Mary Ann are fantastic hosts. Their home is beautiful and they truly do, "think of everything" to make your... More

Mary Ann and Robert were the most gracious and kindest hosts ever! They put care and time into making our weekend getaway perfect, from the hot chocolate and cream puffs that awaited us when we arrived, to Mary Ann's scrumptious breakfasts (including baked plums, poached pears, bacon and onion quiche, etc., all while making sure to accomodate our dietary needs),... Booked this as part of the Holiday Spirits package which includes 2 nights at Acorn Hollow, a tour of 4 wineries with transportation and lunch included, a wine and cheese pairing with a local winery owner and dinner one night at your choice of 3 restaraunts. This was also my birthday which Mary Ann, the owner noted and asked for... More

We loved this B&B. Maryann and Robert are wonderful hosts, the room was super clean, the breakfasts were delicious and we felt so pampered. They went out of their way to accomodate my diabetic needs. This was a wonderful find and we would recommend it highly. Comfortable bed with wonderful linens, choice of juices at breakfast, turn down service, chocolate... More
