The grounds and view at this inn are as gorgeous as they appear on the website. Rooms are small but comfortable. And the restaurant is fantastic! A short drive to the village of Speculator (which is a charming and convenient point to explore the southern Adirondacks) and to many wonderful hikes.

I made arrangements to stay at this hotel with absolutely no expectations. When we arrived we were greeted by the owner and escorted to our room. The environment was cozy and rustic and completely romantic. The dining downstairs was wonderful and affordable. We would definitely love to stay here again.
