We stayed in the Iris room with our 9 and 10 year old. The innkeeper, Hallie, greeted us with cookies and snacks and gave us a tour of the original house. The king bed was too cozy to get out of in the morning and I even tried the pull-out mattress with a brief nap and that was good too.... More

My husband and I did not stay here but had a private dining experience celebrating our anniversary. It was amazing. Chef Mark and his team prepared a special tasting menu just for us. We had 8 courses, all were fantastic. Our favorites: date wrapped in bacon with goat cheese, pureed soups of beet, roasted yellow tomatoes, butternut squash, chopped salad... More

This b & b is fairly new, having been opened in February of this year. It is in a house close to busy and noisy RT 209 outside of Stoneridge. Mark has converted the basement into a commercial kitchen (he is an experienced local chef) and his concentration is on serving food to larger groups. Hence, in my view, the... More

We stayed in the Carriage house - which needs a few tweaks but the meals/food made up for it. Every meal DIVINE and inspired. The grounds are beautiful and the staff (Hallie) are amazing!!!!

We stayed the first weekend the newly renovated Inn opened and it was Fabulous! The room was beautiful and luxurious. I loved the poster bed! Chef Mark was so accommodating, his suggestions for hiking were perfect and his gourmet breakfast was so delicious and filling that we skipped lunch entirely. We will definitely be back!

I wanted to like SparrowHake Affaires, but it ended up being a horrible stay. To be fair, we stayed in the carriage house, so maybe the main house is better. There were FLIES everywhere in the carriage house. I'd say at least 20 hovering around each window. There were also dead flies all over the ground -- my guess is... More

we have been to many bed and breakfasts and have not repeated too many because we like to try new ones. sparrowhawk might just be on our list of repeat visits. the hostess was wonderful, the room we had was large and romantic and the breakfasts were out of this world. we didn't have to eat until 7 at night... Looking for a magical stay while ice climbing in New Paltz.. Just off the beaten path on 209, this B&B is one of the most charming and coziest I have ever stayed at. The hosts Marietta and Mom were most gracious and welcoming, and made us a truly delicious breakfast; even though we were in a rush to hit the... More

We had a wonderful stay at Sparrow Hawk Affaires. Marietta and her mom are extremely warm and attentive hostesses. Our stay exceeded our expectations of a B&B, as our room was spacious and we had plenty of privacy. The entire room and the bathroom were spotlessly clean, not to mention very charmingly decorated. The next morning we enjoyed an amazing... More

My husband and I were looking for a relatively last-minute getaway, and found SparrowHawk through trip advisor. We arrived on the late side of a snowy Friday night and were met very warmly by the innkeeper, who recommended a good place for dinner. We had the largest room on the ground floor and it was quite cozy, though the decorations... More
