Spent Memorial Day weekend at the Tarrytown House Estate in Tarrytown, NY. From the moment one drives up to the this pictureesque property one can see it represents first class all the way. The level of service from the check-in staff, grounds keepers, food servers, cooks, and housekeeping is top-notch. The people who work there were all friendly and made... More

You have to be physically fit to get to your room.We checked in late, no one there to offer to help with the luggage and then our journey began...iit took about 20 minutes to walk a maze of stairs, elevators and hallways to get to our room.Once there, we were unimpressed. There was nothing special about the room, we could... More

Although our Estate is very large and traverses 26 acres and 12 distinct buildings some dating back 170+ years we do have a large variety of newly restored bedrooms for our guests with mobility challenges. These can be reserved in advance... More

- Best place to stay in upstate, NY. Wonderful grounds. Great Hotel (Conference Center). Quiet. Peaceful. Beautiful. Surrounded by wonderful history and stores to shop at, and lots of little places to eat and relax. Plenty of activities for you. - I've stayed there many times over the years. - You can't beat it!! -

Tarrytown House Estate is a great place to host a meeting if you're looking for a hotel outside NYC, yet close enough for those living in NYC to commute easily. It's also a good place if you're looking for something out of the ordinary. Yes, the hotel layout is a bit odd. And, as others have noted, the decor could... More
