I loved everything about this lodge, It is set right on the edge of Queen Elizabeth park, you can sometimes see elephants and other animals in the distance. My room was just beautiful, it had everything you could possibly wish for. There was a large swing on one deck and two chairs and table on the other, both decks looked... More

Kyambura Lodge is set overlooking Queen Elizabeth Park but it is not in the park itself. It takes about 20 minutes to drive to the entrance gate. This is my favourite lodge in Uganda: interesting, eco-friendly, luxury. All of the bandas (cottages) are gorgeous, the main building is comfortable filled with reclaimed art. The food is some of the best... More

Volcanoes runs four lodges in Uganda and Rwanda; we stayed in two in Uganda. Kyambura was our first stop. This two-year-old lodge on the edge of Kyambura Gorge in Queen Elizabeth Park is lovely, with comfortable, well-maintained bandas, breathtaking views, beautiful and relaxing pool, an attentive, gracious staff, and delicious meals nicely served. Everything is included, even massages, laundry, and... More

Staying at this lodge was amazing. Not only because it was located in an amazing area (not so much the main entrance since they are expanding and they are in the middle of construction, but the actual cottages/rooms themselves). The room was more than spacious and this lodge netted their bathroom walls all the way to the ceiling so bugs... More

We spent three nights at the Kyambura Gorge Lodge and thought the property was gorgeous and the service excellent! The place is a refurbished coffee mill, and has a wide, expansive feel to it (quite different from the cozy, intimate feeling of Volcanoes Safari's other lodge that we have stayed at in Rwanda). The decor is incredibly elegant and classy... More

The Lodge overlooks Queen Elizabeth National Park with expansive views of a waterhole and much wildlife. The cottage we stayed in was comfortable and picturesque with all the conveniences and comforts we wanted. The food was good quality and well prepared and tasty and wholesome. The staff was helpful and helped us enjoy the nearby QENP and to see wildlife... More

We stayed here with trepidation because of the poor reviews some folk had given this lodge. Well it was the best nights sleep we have had in Uganda. We had e mailed Lydia because of the noise issue raised by guests on this site. Lydia assured us we would have no problems as they have addressed the issue with the... More

The lodge is beautiful and the staff is very helpful and friendly. That's about it! If you are planning to relax and getting a good night sleep at Kyambura, this is the wrong place to stay, here is why: -Not far from the lodge there is a village. In this village there is a movie house (cinema), where they play... More

Hi, Thank you for making us aware of the noise disturbances at Kyambura earlier this year. We have looked into the source of the noise – a local open-air cinema – and have worked alongside other local businesses and authorities to prevent the noise from providing more disturbances. We have been assured by the local police that it will no... More

We thought we would never find another place as good to stay as Wildwaters Lodge, but we did. Kyambura Gorge Lodge is another fabulous place to stay in Uganda. We wanted to go chimp treking and needed a place to stay. Unfortunately we didn't see any chimps on our trek but it didn't matter because it was worth the 6... More

I was blown away by the originality and style of this lodge, situated in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Every little detail has been thought about from the distinctive and very cool decor of the lodge to the delicious food on offer. The chef was able to serve up one of the best lemon tarts I've ever tasted and that is... More
