The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. The spot was quiet and off the beaten path. The rooms had a woodsy decor and we enjoyed meeting with family for breakfast and activities in the game room.

We enjoyed the quiet, serene setting of the Whiteface Chalet. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The fresh fruit and bread was a real plus. Converstion with Rona and her husband enjoyable.

Rooms were neat, clean and affordable. Oh and air-conditioned...it was VERY hot. Breakfast was simple and perfect before a hard day of swimming, biking and running. Had a great time there.

I found this place on TripAdvisor based on the positive reviews. I was not disappointed! It is a beautiful setting, conveniently located near Lake Placid. The innkeepers were very gracious and helpful and the hotel is very clean and nicely furnished. I look forward to returning!
