I had stayed here with my boyfriend back in 2007 and really enjoyed the rooms, but after this most recent experience I will never step foot in that place EVER AGAIN!!! First they charged us an additional $5 just to have a room with a fridge and microwave. Second, the toilet was barely flushable and you had to wait at... More

The worst, Dont go there. The first room we were shown was fine. Nothing fancy but clean. When we told the desk we had a dog, we were shown room 324. It was not a pet room but we were rented that one any way. The bathroom looked clean enough but upon opening the shower curtain paint was peeling/scratching off... More

I decided to stay here while driving down 95 from New England. It was conveniently located right off the highway. You will enjoy this place if 1) You just need to find a place to sleep. 2) You don't want to spend a lot of money. And lastly, don't really mind the smell of smoke.. It is not luxurious by... More

This was our halfway mark between Forida and home. The hotel was aweful...the first room we went to was not made up, the next two...the doors didn't lock. The forth room we thought was clean enough. When I pulled down the bedspread to check the sheets, the blanket had wholes in it. In the shower, you could feel the bottom... More

I was traveling to a family wedding with my daughter and her 3 children, ages 13, 10 and 3 months. Thank goodness we had brought the pack and play for the baby because after looking around there is NO WAY we would have put her into a hotel crib from this place!!! Had we not checked in at midnight and... More

Let's start off with saying, it's right off of 95 so it's really convenient to get to. The restaurant was closed because the owners were on vacation. It was quiet. It was a very large room with 2 sinks, a sitting area and they provided a full size ironing board and iron. I was happy to see that you had... More

I had in the past read poor reviews of Howard Johnson's hotels (and you will find a negative one we had on this same trip on Tripadvisor), so I had my concerns. However, we tried it out and I personally was very impressed. The hotel is in good shape as was the room. For the amount we spent on the... More

Stayed here over night on a trip up to Baltimore. The price was good $39 for the night, so can't complain too much. The bed was nothing to write home about, and seemed more like just a box spring than a bed. That being said we were tried, and had no problem falling asleep. In a nut shell I would... More

Hotel was ok for a quick stop over. Rooms clean, hotel staff friendly. No place to eat nearby except Waffle House and McDonald's. Got panhandled by a person at the nearest gas station, but still felt safe in area.

We stayed at this Howard Johnson on our way to Hilton Head, SC for a wedding. Not knowing how far we'd get on our first night, we didn't reserve a room ahead of time, but had researched some possible places to stay in advance. We were able to make it the area where this Howard Johnson was located, so we... More
