This hotel is clean & tidy, however is not historic but a little dated. It does have a nice bar/dinning area, however the customer service taints the atmosphere. Also if you are travelling in from a distance away as I'm sure most guests are you can expect rude treatment & absolute discontentment at the fact you are arriving late, to... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here Dec 29, 2012 - Jan 1, 2013 and had a wonderful time! We stayed in a slopeview room with a balcony which gave us a great view of the slopes both during the day and at night (and even a view of the Sugar Mountain NYE fireworks!). This inn is very clean and quiet... More

Stayed Dec 23-24-25, 2012. Reserved the second floor corner, king, mountain view, fireplace, balcony room #121, excellent room on the opposite end of the inn from the bar and restaurant. Felt like we were the only guests. Clean and big room serviced daily with small balcony, flat screen tv, medium fridge, microwave. Continental breakfast was included and had basic cereals,... More

My husband, brother and I were attending the USA National Mountainbike race and we pleasantly surprised with the hotel. It's an older hotel, little musty, but large rooms and Steve and the staff were truly helpful. On Sunday night after the event, it was a wonderful surprise with a great view on the huge lawn, music and vocals. It happens... More

Two of us ate dinner at the restaurant in July. Charlie, our waiter, was pleasant and we truly enjoyed talking with him. We arrived around 6 pm, seated right away and ordered drinks which were OK. We walked outside and checked out the grounds and view, which are outstanding. We both ordered filet mignon and baked potatoes. About 40 minutes... More

My husband and I have been staying here for the spring NASCAR race for at least eight years. The rooms are comfy and clean, but fixtures are outdated. The rooms have new flat screen televisions. The bar is nice for drinks and chatting with the locals. It's nice returning to a place where the owner remembers his customers.

My family drove from south Florida for a fun weekend of skiing at Beech Mountain. We were so excited to be staying at the "Top of the Beech." Our stay was a BIG disappointment. We called to make arrangements for a late check in like the website said. We were told that if we didn't arrive by 11:30 p.m., we... More

We had a really enjoyable July weekend at Beech Alpen Inn. My husband was needing some time away from the heat and humidity of summer, and the Beech Alpen Inn did not disappoint - highs in the 70s during the day and quite comfortable at night. We didn't even need to use air conditioning (though there was an air conditioner... More

We did not stay at the hotel but rent a condo and have patronized the restaurant several times last season and it was excellent, The crab soup was to die for. My wife ordered the 10 dollar cheese quesadilla, and I ordered the prime rib. The quesadilla was soggy and cold, served with warm salsa right out of a jar... More
