We stayed on 5/26. Placed in room 116 near the indoor pool. The pool door is supposed to be closed but was blocked open several times. This allowed us to have a front row seat to squealing kids, chlorine smell and high humidity. Called the front desk twice to complain, the door would stay closed for a short time, then... More

We weren't specifically looking for a hotel in Boone, but this hotel -- located about a mile from the Appalachian State campus -- was about $20 per night cheaper than other Hampton Inns in the northwestern part of North Carolina. We thought it might indicate an older property with fewer amenities. We couldn't tell how old this place is, but... More

PROS: The front desk was friendly and the room was pretty nice; comfortable bed, nice linens, clean bathroom, HDTV, working WI-FI. CONS: We were on the first floor. The carpet in the hallway was very, very dirty. In the morning we visited the breakfast area to find that the counter surfaces and the tables were all dirty. Yuck. All of... More

We had a stay at the Boone Hampton Inn Friday April 20th. The hotel is in a good location, minutes away from ASU and downtown Boone. The place is a bit dated, but customer service was very good/excellent, and the room A/C and heating system was very quiet. Breakfast was standard, and the attendant very nice and on top of... More

Had to stay because of house being work on. Very clean and staff was friendly. They worked with me to get the best rate. I decided to try the breakfast and found they have chicken biscuits and all the usual's. Nice place to stay if you need a room in Boone.

We almost always stay Hampton because of the HHonors points and usually have no complaints. This was the worst Hampton Inn we have ever stayed in, and I would say it is just about the worst of any hotel we've stayed in for the last 15 years! The upkeep on the place is not up to par. Housekeeping lacks attention... More

We stayed here the past weekend since we were going skiing. Overall, the hotel is fine. However, it is not what I am use to from Hampton Inn's. First, the hotel reeks of chlorine (Not sure if its cause it's old or what). Also, the breakfast is not up to the usual standards; only has microwave stuff and make your... More

I usually find Hampton Inns to be one of the best values in hotels. The Hampton in Boone, however, was a disappointment. It simply looks like it needs a complete make-over. The carpet was old, the furnishings looked worn and the bath room looked like it had been quite a while since it was updated. It just didn't look crisp... More

The Boone, NC Hampton Inn is a very well cared for standard Hampton Inn, pretty much clean spartan and unremarkable, except for Nikki Green the front office manager. She is pleasant to a fault and goes out of her way to be helpful and friendly, in short she sells the hotel and her bosses are lucky to have her.

We stayed here a year ago and I wrote a review because the hotel had all kinds of issues. I'm glad to say it is very much improved. The service was excellent. Everyone at the front desk was very nice and friendly. The only thing I see that needs improvement are the sheets and comforters need to be replaced from... More
