Like Tony the Tiger said...Gr...Gr.. Great!!! What a lovely place. Beds are outstanding and so comfortable. Rooms are darling. Food is out of this world! the innkeeper, Pat, should write a cookbook, she is amazing with food preparation. She is also knowledgeable about the area and very helpful finding everything you are in the area to search for. For no... More

My husband and I spent the first night of our honeymoon at the Old Buggy Inn several years ago, and we enjoyed it. We recently returned for our anniversary and fell in love with the place once again. Pat, the proprietress, was not the owner when we were there the first time, yet she has improved on an already wonderful... More

I recently spent two lovely nights at The Old Buggy Inn and was was like stepping back into the Victorian era. The owner, Pat, is a delightful hostess and a great cook. The breakfast menus were wonderful and the silver and china service was made it even more special. I was attending my granddaughter's high school graduation and having the... More

My husband and I stayed at the Old Buggy Inn on the way to Rockingham from Raleigh and really enjoyed PAt's hospitality. We were greeted by a friendly dog named Ricky and were shown our enourmous room. We stayed in the English Garden room and it was huge- I actually feel like it's an understatement to just say it was... More

Our stay at the Old Buggy Inn in Carthage, NC was beyond our expectations. Pat, the host, was as warm and welcoming as her offerings in cuisine were palate-pleasing. I found my room to be light and airy and a step back in time but with all the comforts of today's luxury hotels including beds and bedding. Parlors adjacent to... More

This is a beautiful bed and breakfast. You immediately feel as if you are part of a family. Pat is a great hostess- the food was fabulous- and the beds were wonderful. It was a fabulous relaxing weekend.

This was our last stop on a one-week trip to the South and back and we were a bit travel weary but our Hostess Pat was so pleasant it was worth going a bit out of our way to visit The Old Buggy Inn. The house is restored beautifully and every room is a colorful pastel confection. The beds were... More

My wife and I had driven by this Victorian gingerbread home for over a decade, always saying we are going to stop there one day. Finally for our anniversary, we booked a room for a weekend getaway to the Pinehurst area. I have never felt more immediately at comfort in any inn, the owner is a wonderful hostess. The architectual... More

My fiancee and I recently stayed at the Old Buggy Inn, located in Carthage, North Carolina and had the best Bread & Breakfast experience ever! The new owner recently renovated this incredible Victorian mansion located in the Sand Hills area of North Carolina with beautiful antiques, wonderful colors and absolute attention to detail.
