I recently attended a family reunion in Emerald Isle, NC and The Islander was chosen as the host hotel. It was a dismal experience from the moment we checked in. Great location but very crowded. Noisey due to parking lot and walkways right outside the doorway. No sound block between first and second floor. Big clean beds with yucky sheets and pillows. The staff was wonderful and the suites were immaculate! It was a great experience for us as our room overlooked the beach. Look forward to staying again!
