I had to spend 6 nights in Hickory, NC for work, and my hotel requirements were relatively simple. I needed a place that had a microwave, a fridge, a fitness center, and that cost less than the government limit of $77 per night. The hotel is back off the interstate, so there is not much traffic noise. Plenty of restaurants & shopping nearby. Clean rooms, free breakfast, fair price. Have stayed 4 years in a row.

“A very nice stay!”

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Baymont Inn in Hickory. The room was clean and comfortable, and I found the location to be much better than I originally expected. Walking distance to quite a few good restaurants/chains, including a Mellow Mushroom (yum!). Not a bad continental breakfast selection, and the hotel staff was very friendly. The staff was friendly, and helpful. Rooms were immaculate. Would stay anytime i come to the area!!! Could use flyers or coupons for area delivery places though.

I've never stayed at a Baymont before, Very nice place. My room was nice and clean. Decent breakfast and staff was very friendly and accommodating. A good selection of restaurants close by. Will stay again the next time I'm in town.
