My parents and my niece and nephew had a lovely weekend stay in Miss Rebecca's Cottage at the Colonial Pines Inn. The cottage on it's own was lovely and it had even been decorated for Christmas! Donna was fabulous in helping set up this weekend getaway for my parents, and they had a marvelous time.

This was our first time to stay in a bed and breakfast, and Donna and Chris at the Colonial Pines Inn greatly exceeded our expectations! The accommodations were great, the food was outstanding, and the overall experience was terrific. We highly recommend Colonial Pines Inn to Highlands, NC, visitors and we plan to return when we can.

We have stayed at several B&Bs in Highlands and have found that Donna at the Colonial Pines Inn makes, without a doubt, the best breakfast in town! Donna and Chris are also the nicest inn keepers that we have ever met. It is a real pleasure staying with them.

I wanted a quick get away in the mountains in a great B&B. I was looking for a nice country warm feel and a great breakfast. The brownie snacks and the incredible southern breakfast were outstanding. The room was comfortable and very clean. Donna was great on giving us super hiking recommendations and dining suggestions. We will definitely repeat!

A quick get-away to Highlands was made perfect by our choice of Colonial Pines Inn B&B. We prefer B&Bs because they provide a truly "local" experience - this one is excellent. I have been traveling to Highlands for 40 years. I have stayed with friends, rented houses, stayed in motels and B & B's or just visited for the day, but I have finally found the best place to stay. The breakfasts were wonderful, the bed comfortable and the company enjoyable. I will definitely be returning.

We live a little over an hour away from several wonderful mountain towns: Asheville, Cashiers, Hendersonville, Flat Rock and Highlands. We've stayed at inns in those towns, but not since we found Colonial Pines Inn in Highlands. We love bed & breakfasts and prefer to stay in them over hotels whenever we can.
