Our stay was fantastic. Jim and dee went out of their way to make our stay great. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast basket was delish. The view from the room was breathtaking. We can't say enough about this hotel.

My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay. It was very low key and private (just like Kure Beach itself), and extremely relaxing. Darlings is a good base for local walks and cycle rides in town, and for short car hops to Fort Fisher, the Southmont Ferry, and Wilmington and its historic waterfront, restored old homes, and charming restaurants.... We love this place and try to go every year. We have probably been there 10 times in the past and have never been disappointed. Great ocean view, walking distance to several restaurants, lovely private patio, very comfortable room. Great place for romance and relaxation and of course, enjoying the uncrowded, beautiful beach!

Stayed here Friday and Saturday before New Year's Eve. Really impressive! This is as solitary an experience as you want - basket of snacks and goodies replenished every day and a quiche placed in the fridge for breakfast. Relaxing comfortable carefree. Just what we needed. It was a great stay can't wait to do it again. Sunrises were absolutely beautiful.
