We have stayed at this hotel for several years and had a good time however this year we found out our room was given to someone else just days before our trip. Not a good way to treat your guest. Amy Mullis

We would like Derrick and Amy to know the Stanly County Group has been coming for fourteen years, and to let us know the week we are suppose to leave that our rooms have been given away. For fourteen years some of us have been coming and staying the same week, the same rooms, and our group continued to grow.... More

I enjoyed my stay here; it's just what I look for in a hotel: basic accomodations with helpful, friendly owners. Several questions I had about the area were answered quickly. The use of the "mess hall" was a great extra. This is not a "fancy" hotel, but that's not what I look for. I look forward to returning.

“Another goodnight's sleep at Applecover”

They have the best deal around. We stayed for under $50 (after tax) and slept like babies. The rooms are clean and the water pressure in the shower was good in room 12. Everything was in working order and you're in walking distance from Joey's Pancake house.

“Another nice stay”

It's going to be hard to beat $40 a night for such a clean place to stay. It's nothing fancy, but we slept well and there was a good shower with lots of water pressure. We'll be back.

i am a biker,and i am also a corrections officer.this is my favorite place to stay,PERIOD. DERRICK IS GREAT! i got to stay here last fall a couple of times and i was SOLD. We stay at Applecover at least twice a year Derrick and Amy make us feel more at home than some of our family! Always personally greeted when we arrive and best wishes when we leave. “Perfect get away”

Derrick really knows how to make you feel like your at home while away....The rooms are well kept and clean, as he's got the best housekeepper out there...He takes the time to stop in and ask if all is ok...but i think one of his best attributes, is having a family bon-fire....top notch Derrick. Just returned from a three night stay at The Applecover Inn Motel. The rooms are very clean and the rates are great. Derek was so nice and made us feel very welcome.

we stayed at the apple cover inn oct 2-7. It was the most enjoyable time in recent memory. Derrick, family + staff made our visit most enjoyable.
