We enjoyed our stay. Big room downstairs a little over decorated but had a nice colonial canopy bed and two comfortable wing chairs. Very quiet. Breakfast consisted of a great stuffed french toast, fruit, granola, juice and coffee. All great. You can walk around the corn to Craven where there are great restaurants and shopping.

OK when we arrived no one was there to greet us. We came at the time of arrival, 6:00pm but there was a sign that they were out to dinner. Not the warmest welcome! Great location, easy parking, pleasant rooms, comfortable beds, delicious breakfasts, cheerful hosts--what more can be said? Oh yes--there are porch swings and rockers, and big pots of begonias, and fresh flowers in the living room. It's just a lovely place to stay.

Everything about my stay was perfect. Off street parking. Huge wonderful room. Great location, easy to walk downtown and to the Tyron Palace. Helpful innkeepers, and excellent breakfast. Can't say enough good things about this wonderful B&B.

Harmony House is a beautiful B&B owned by a wonderful and engaging couple who made us feel right at home. We had a lovely time and will definitely go back. Harmony House would be a wonderful and 'friendly' place to stay.

We read glowing reviews for Harmony House Inn and our experience was very different. The decor is "sit com 80s" with pretentions to Victorian antiques. Little attention had been given to clearing dead insects from porch seating and interior nooks and crannies. The bed was hard and overdressed.
