Our golf group has been going to Pinehurst for 27 straight years. Several of those years - we have dined at The Magnolia Inn. A few years ago - the place went out of business - then reopened after a time. The "old" Magnolia restaurant WAS outstanding - WAS being the operative word. Before their failure - the dining experience... More

Just spent 3 nights at the Magnolia Inn and loved it. Very nice rooms. A great pub and patio, and very friendly staff. In the heart of the village and a great spot to enjoy all that Pinehurst has to offer. It was recommended to us by a friend and we owe him a big thank you. Will definitely go... More

We just returned from a weekend at the Magnolia Inn. We totally loved this place. Every person we encountered at The Magnolia Inn was nice and helpful. The Inn keepers were friendly and available, even when we needed help with the TV in our room during the dinner rush. We were blown away by the restaurant, which had one of... More

The recently opened Inn is in a great location on the square in historic Pinehurst. Locals filled the pub and the restaurant was fine for casual dining. But the owner was nowhere to be seen after showing us our room. No Ice, No morning coffee, No paper, No conversation. We found it odd after many stays at other Inns. The... More

Since the hotel came under new management a little over a year ago, The Magnolia Inn has transformed into a hot spot for locals as well as remaining the perfect accommodations and location for out-of-town guests. All the rooms and bathrooms and main public areas of the Inn have been updated and renovated but it remains historic and quaint. The... More

This is a very nice inn. They make you feel like you are family staying with them. Our room was in the front of the inn on the second floor. It was very large. We did hear noises in the morning when guests were leaving and from the room next door at about 2AM but that wouldn’t keep me from... More

When traveling we always look for an alternative between hotels and motels. The Mag, was the perfect fit! The Inn is beautifully restored, with a cozy atmosphere. The rooms are very comfortable and very well appointed. The afghans in the room was a nice added touch. Nothing is nicer than a meal on the patio on a nce warm evening.... More

My wife and I stayed at the Mag when we could not get our regular accomodations, and we could not have been more surprised. The room was clean and well appointed and the food excellent. The owners, bartenders, and staff were most attentive, and you can't beat evenings on the patio, listening to local talent and having a cool drink.The... More

Lovely historic inn that's transformed into a resturant and bar with rooms above. Once checked in, guests are on their own to navigate the ammenities and local area. The owners and staff are pleasant and attentive when approached. The food, particularly breakfast, is deliscious and prepared with care.

My husband had a golf tournament to play in in Pinehurst, and we decided to stay at this wonderful Bed and Breakfast for a night to make a weekend getaway out of the trip. The Magnolia was WONDERFUL. We were greeted at the door by first name and shown up to our room. The room was wonderful, not huge, but... More
