...I'd say this is probably one of your best bets in Jilin City. The rooms are old looking, or maybe it's the Chinese sense of fashion that is a little odd to us Westerners. Rooms are very spacious and clean, and I heard of that it's because the 18-months re-furnishment of the whole hotel. It's in a good location anyway coz Jilin city is not so big. The breakfast is Ok but the coffee and the staff there is horrible. yes unfortunately it's porbably the best hotel in Jilin so far.

Surprisingly the hotel has become better during the summer. Compared to my last stay in spring the rooms got cleaner, the stuff more friendly, the service at the reception a little bit faster and teh breakfast (including the coffee) much better. But: The piano player in the lobby is playing as bad as in spring... still learning.

Stayed here for Four nights. Beds are extremely hard, probably the hardest beds I ever slept on. very small pillows. The room was rough and could use a little paint and a face lift.
