The rooms were spacious and recently renovated. The adjacent Bushmans Inn restaurant was very welcome. The bed was very comfortable with only slight road noise heard. The only disappointment was the unavailability of a hot breakfast (continental only) in the morning. This meant a morning trip into the centre of town for breakfast.

I stayed in this hotel for a few nights recently. The rooms are clean and comfortable and perfectly suited for a quick stay over if you are not after something flash. The hotel is located close to the shops in Penola, 5 - 10 minute walk at most, and is reasonably priced.

A very convenient, clean and comfortable motel, an excellent base for visiting the wineries of Coonawarra. There is a restaurant on site, but the accommodation is also within easy walking distance of restaurants in the town centre. Highly recommended.
