This hotel was grand and interesting,the room was clean but needed some updating. My only big criticism: the room was very warm, the ac did not work, even with windows open and outside temps at a cool 40, the room remained to warm for a comfortable night sleep. Out most recent of many stays. Stayed in a second floor master double in the Putter Lodge. Spacious room with microwave, refrigerator, sink area and large separate shower/toilet. Historic, but OLD. Limited facilities for everything, but golf. We were offered no bell assistance and had to lug suitcases and clubs down the stairs. Unfortunately we also had roaches in our room. It must be noted that this facility has no handicap accessible rooms. History is fine but many people live in the present. Being grandfathered in does not remove your moral responsibility to serve handicapped members of our community.
