The Moss House is a pleasant, quiet B&B. The owners Becky and Scott do everything they can to make your stay memorable. Becky cooks a full and delicious breakfast. The coffee is the best; so good that we took a pound home. Our room was classic and clean and we recommend the inn to Washington NC visitors.

Our room was bright and well furnished, with lots of local reading material that helped us when we toured the area around Washington. Our hosts were helpful and engaging and gave us a lot of help in choosing restaurants, and local attactions. The breakfasts were terrific, and Becky and Scot made us feel very welcome.

Our family rented the entire Moss House for our daughter's wedding. Scott and Becky went above and beyond to make our family from California feel welcome. The Moss House is charming. The hostess, Becky, was very accommodating about my quirky eating requirements and prepared delicious and nutritious breakfasts while I was there. The coffee is also really good - strong, but smooth and flavorful. Another plus - Becky makes an effort to be "green" - for example, recycling is available and she uses biodergadable trash bags.

We stole away after a hectic holiday and had a wonderful time staying at the Moss House. The Bed and Breakfast was beautifully decorated for the holidays.
