“Excellent stay and beautiful atmosphere”

The Herren House B & B is conveniently located one block off the main street of Waynesville. A brief walk takes you everywhere you would want to go to shop or eat. Bridget's Bistro offers the most wonderful breakfast, made-to-order and gourmet. Sunday brunch is more than delicious. Michelle and Phil are wonderful hosts. Time spent in the gazebo garden... More

“Great Breakfast and staff”

My wife and I didn't stay there, but went for breakfast on Sunday. We had delicious omelets. The only down-side would be that it wasn't served with fresh fruit. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely go back.

The owners are great down to earth folks and make you feel right at home. I've stayed at some b&b's that are high priced with bad service. This place is the total opposite, we were very pleased with our stay! The proximity to downtown is perfect for shopping or grabbing a bite to eat. My wife and I highly recommend... More

“Great weakend getway”

2nd time staying at the bed & breakfast, and this time was better than the last time. The Murder Mystery Dinner was the best. Everyone should try one of these, you will have a great time. Michelle is the best.

Michelle runs a fantastic Herren B & B, greeting us upon arrival with a glass of wine. We were lucky to have a corner room with sunlight coming from two sides of the house. “Had a great time”

The corner Henry room was beautiful and peaceful. The town, about 30 minutes from Asheville, was quaint with a nice restaurants and interesting shops. And Michelle was a gracious host, who makes a wonderful french toast with ricotta and apple compote. We had a nice visit. My wife, an anglophile, particularly like Michelle's British accent.

We stayed in the Molly room which was a good choice. Waynesville is a small town in the mountains, enjoyed a short walk from bed and breakfast to Main Street for shopping, ate at the sweet onion restaurant which I highly recommend. “A lovely visit at a great B&B”

The inn is nicely decorated and very quiet. Within walking distance of quaint, downtown Waynesville, NC. Lots of "artsy" shops to visit and plenty of excellent resturants. Michelle, our gracious innkeeper, made us feel welcome and comfortable. Check-in/check-out process was easy and efficient. Yummy breakfasts both mornings of our stay. We will definitely be back.

“Murder Mystery stay”

We enjoyed our stay at the Herren House with Michelle and especially the Murder Mystery dinner. We met some wonderful people and had a great meal. Michelle was so hospitable and entertaining. We plan on making another trip in the future.
