Just came back to Asheville from an overnight stay at the Waynesville Inn. Tried to make reservations within the past week but the online site stated you couldn't arrive on a Saturday. Apparently, they have a two night minimum of weekends. Either way, got to our reservation at another hotel and found it lacking so I called the Inn and... More

We stayed two nights in the "historic" wing of the building. It is old but clean and done with rustic beds and furniture. Buildings then didn't devote as much space to bathrooms but it was adequate. We especially enjoyed sitting on the big back porch in the rocking chairs and watching the golfers. It was such a lovely green view.... More

This is a great setup for a golf outing. I was there with a group of around 20 people. We all stayed in the same building and were within walking distance to the pro shop, golf course and hotel restaurants. There are 2 restaurants on site, both are very good. However, I was a little disappointed at the quality and... More

Nice lodge type hotel on a golf course. Very well kept groungs. Hotel is nice, clean, could use a little updating but it's rustic so it works. Great value. Package included an excellent, full breakfaat buffet with cook to order omelets.

The Waynesville Inn offers cottages, rooms in the original Inn, Fairway Rooms, and Golf View rooms. My second floor golf view room was large and very clean, but not luxurious. I really loved the big window and two screen doors that opened onto the balcony overlooking the gof course. It was like being outside - very light and open. What... More

My wife and I love the Smokey Mountains; it is one of our favorite vacation spot. We love to hike and see the mountains. I also love to play golf when at home. When we received the Living Social deal for the Waynesville Golf Resort and Spa we jumped on it. I ordered the 2 night package and called the... More

Let me first apologize, once again, for an otherwise enjoyable stay having ended on such a sour note. Although another apology is likely of little more consolation, I can understand your anger and share in your frustration. Even though our property has never been gated and has always been open to the public, I cannot recall such an event in... More

Me and my fiancee wanted to take a little trip to North Carolina and found the Waynesville Resort on Groupon. It was an excellent value, of $99 for two nights including breakfast. Once we arrived, we were surprised on how beautiful the view was, and how good the hotel looked from the outside. We checked in and we got the... More

We were looking to escape for couple of days when the Groupon for the Waynesville Inn popped up. We noticed the “historic room” and that is what we got. The Inn has a modern appearance that somewhat hides the older parts built in the 1920s. The hallway to our room was narrow with about 7 foot ceilings. The room reminded... More

We bought our room with a groupon and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay, I see a lot of people like to complain about the decor or the rooms being out of date. It's true the rooms could use some updating but to say that there was a bait and switch is ridiculous. The rooms look EXACTLY like they... More

The Waynesville Inn, Golf Resort & Spa was just "OK". The rooms were clean, and truly have great potential, seemed mostly renovated, my only complaint was the room keys were difficult to work (I honestly wished they would have given me an old fashioned key) and the beds were a little over-worn and needed replacing in my room. Otherwise, the... More
