We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Gabriola Island and our 4 night stay at beautiful Casa Blanca, with exceptionally friendly hosts Bill & Marylyn. It is a lovely tranquil beach house with an outstanding ocean view. We loved having our coffee on the deck in the mornings, mesmerized by all the sealife and birds. Then Bill outdid himself each... We stayed here in July 2010 for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. We had the whole basement, including 2 bedrooms to ourselves. Large kitchen was great; we prepared our own meals as the hosts were away so we don't know what the breakfasts are like. We liked being able to have a relaxing breakfast sitting out in the yard... Any time of the year is excellent for exploring Gabriola Island, whether by car, bicycle or foot, and especially just offshore by kayak. I've been there several times to stay overnight, as well as on day trips by bicycle from Vancouver. But it's infinitely preferable to stay over a few days, especially at Casa Blanca by the Sea. Bill and... More

Second stay at Casa Blanca was as memorable as the first. Beautiful and tranquil location with lovely, large accomodation on the water - perfect for a group get together. After exploring the parks, the beaches and the cafes on spectacular Gabriola, we had a late afternoon kayak right off the beach and kayaks provided Marilyn and Bill. The natural sandstone... More

Great stay and wonderful hosts. Gabriola Island is off the beaten track and Casa Blanca offers a nice way to detach and relax. Highlights for my wife and I included taking out the kayaks for a day paddle and exploring marine life. We highly recommend a stay at Casa Blanca!

I have stayed at Casa Blanca several times over the past few years and it is always a pleasure to return. I have brought both family and former classmates with me and the suite is particularly versatile for a group. The kitchen in the suite is well supplied, but we never choose to do without the delicious breakfast with Bill... More

5 female friends stayed at the Casa Blanca B & B for 5 days. We truly enjoyed Marilyn & Bill's hospitality, wonderful breakfasts and very comfortable rental kayaks. We stayed at their suite, very comfortable rooms, beds, kitchen etc. and ample room for all of us. Can highly recommend this B & B . Lis Farrell Ladysmith, BC

We've used Casa Blanca by the Sea, on Gabriola Island, several times over the years... and every time has been full of delightful B & B moments and experiences ... from the decadence of hot tubbing the evening away overlooking the beauty of False Narrows and Mudge Island, to the early dawn stroll on the peaceful Gulf Island beach as... We stayed at Casa Blanca by the Sea from July 16th until July 23rd, 2011. We had been here once before, about 5 years ago, and had forgotten what a truly magical place this is. This is a waterfront location on Gabriola Island, across from Mudge Island. It is absolutely beautiful here. I am afraid my words will not do... More

My daughter and I spent one night at Casa Blanca during a short and busy visit to Vancouver Island from the UK. We received a warm and friendly welcome from Bill and Marylyn, kind and genial hosts, but also good at allowing us our own space and privacy in their house. Our room was simple but comfortable - and huge... More
