We just spent 2 nights in the Sea Lion suite, the location is amazing, right on the water. The suite is very comfortable and has everything you need for a restful stay away. The bed is comfortable, the space is well appointed and Mike is a very welcoming host. Excellent value for money for a slow-paced relaxing break. More

A fabulous find! The suite was small however well organized and clean. Kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals. Beautiful gardens and the view of the waterit was spectacular. Loved watching the eagles soar by, as we walked the beach. Sitting on the deck, sipping wine while the tide came was serene. Sleeping to the sound of the... More

We had a wonderful stay and Mike and Patti made us very welcome. We had a member of our party with special dietry needs and their efforts to ensure that she could eat a proper breakfast wereexceptional. We stayed in the attached suite which had a kitchen. It was a beautiful view of the ocean and we brought our golden retriever who was welcomed by the Copes. We enjoyed the beach where we swam and walked. We also enjoyed just sitting outside the suite looking at the ocean while we enjoyed our coffee in the morning and... More

My partner and I stayed in The Sea Lion suite for 4 days. Mike and Patti made us feel very welcome. The suite was tastefully designed. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could possibly need. I usually have trouble sleeping in a new bed. The mattress was a pillowtop that was luxuriously soft, yet supportive. We both slept... More

Where to begin?! You look out your window and all you see are, ocean, birds, and sea lions splashing! If the sound of the waves and crickets don't rock you to sleep before 9pm, then you will witness a fleet of cruise ships silently slip by lighting up the darkened waters in a dazzling array of twinkle lights off in... Owners, Mike and Patti, are the ideal people to run a bed and breakfast. The place is very clean. The location is great. The breakfasts were the best I've ever experienced, i.e. better than other b&b's, restaurants, and even my own. You won't be disappointed. Jean Gardner Calgary, Alberta More

My fiancee and our kids rented 2 of the three rooms for 2 nights. The owners were kind enough to let us have a small wedding on their back deck that overlooks the water. Our upstairs bedroom had a wrap around deck, and when the tide was in it seemed like we were nearly in the water. My daughter asked... More

April 4th, 2008 Being city people, regrettably it is easy to lose touch with what nature has to offer. At Cope’s B & B this wasn’t a problem. With blue sky above, golden sunshine around, wide vistas to see and natural scents to sense, we couldn’t ask for anything more on our two day stay. The location and lay out... More

We've stayed in B&Bs throughout North America and Western Europe and Copes Islander rates #1 in comfort. The hosts are lovely people and I really felt that it mattered to them that I had a wonderful holiday. The room was comfortable, breakfast was delicious and the view was nothing short of spectacular. We will visit Comox again just to stay... More
