The Compass Rose is a lovely little place near the wharf in Grand Manan. The inn consists of two houses next to each other. We stayed in the second house. The Compass Rose is a charming B&B within walking distance of the ferry. It has water views of the harbor and Stanley Beach. The rooms are comfortable, nicely decorated, with excellent mattresses (!), and modern bathrooms. Flagg House has a small deck with Adirondack chairs overloking the water.
