We did a day trip and stopped to eat at the restaurant. Excellent and attentive service. Heard the way to go was to have appetizers and "share", which we did. Had the delicious mushrooms and the cherry tomatoes on toasts. Nice amount for 2 for a lighter lunch and it was so good. Loved it. The views are from a... More

I just returned from a brief jaunt to this little corner of paradise. We spent two days in the Valle at the Hacienda Guadalupe. We were received with warmth by the most gracious of staffs of any hotel. The colonial style rooms were full of charm and comfort. With views like those from the balcony, you forget that there are... Without really knowing much about Hacienda Guadalupe, we were happily surprised at how fun our stay was. Daniel and Gabby, the owners, are genuinely kind and Gabby puts out amazing food! The turkey was the best ever! The hot tub and pool were enjoyed by all and the rooms and beds were very comfortable. All of the employees were polite... More

When I stopped at Hacienda Guadalupe I was treated so bad by one of the workers. I can say that I would never ever ever stay there. I am looking at a place to go with my family to celebrate my mom's 80 birthday. So I was looking around the premises, my kids 13 and 12 were with me and... More

Dear Maureen P. I am really sorry that you felt that our employee was rude to you, it was probably his natural reaction due to our guest privacy policy when he saw you unescorted in the guest only area during a private event. We maintain a very strict access to our Hotel areas to ensure the privacy, exclusivity and comfort... More

I hate to admit this, but, I'm the type of person that only takes the time to write about complaints. Having said that-- I actually would call it selfish of me to not write about our amazing time here. It seriously felt like we walked into the, "Be Our Guest" scene from, "The Beauty and the Beast". Thank you Juan... More

Elegant without glitter. On a hill overlooking the vineyards across the road. No TV, no cell signal, Internet only in the lobby and patio. Deafening silence and awesome stars by night. Over 90 excellent wines to choose from. The menu is not extensive, just a few great choices. Don't miss the duck in chocolate sauce. The service is invisible, but... More

We enjoyed our overnight stay in Valle de Guadalupe. The accomodations were fine and the staff was attentive. We dined at wonderful Laja restaurant and only had breakfast on sunday morning at the hotel, which had been highly recommended, but it my opinion, it could have been much better. Chilaquiles were dry and tasteless, pastries were bland, breakfast does certainly... More

We were on a 3 day food and wine tour of the Guadalupe and Santa Tomas Valleys. Our last stop was at Hacienda Guadalupe for a 7 course meal with wine pairing. The food, wine and service were excellent. Our hosts and owners, chef Gabby and husband were most accomodating and informative. Theirs is a true farm to table food... More

I was traveling with a group from San Diego. The Hacienda Guadalupe Hotel hosted a lunch for our group. It started with a tour of the beautiful property and grounds, followed by a marvelous meal. We were treated to a 7-course lunch with wine pairings. The service and attention to detail was flawless. The food was both stunningly beautiful and... More
