The staff is amazing they are always kind and willing to help. The hacienda is beautiful, the rooms couldn't be any cleaner, the decoration is amazing, the sheets are 6000 thread count and 100% cotton (I slept like a queen). They take care of every little detail to ensure your stay is unforgettable (an example is Ferragamo amenities and Apple... More

What I thought was going to be a wonderful vacation turned out to be completely unforgettable, made perfectly complete by my stay at this location. The food was wonderful, the rooms impeccably turned out, the service staff just wonderful... It just couldn't have gotten any better. This resort needs to go on everyone's bucket list.

I can't recommend Hacienda del Lago highly enough. I've stayed there a few times now, and it just gets better and better. The staff are always very friendly, and helpful with information about the local area. The hotel is beautiful... Such a great atmosphere. Perfect for a relaxing holiday in the sun! The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated. All... More

We were fortunate enough to be able to get away again to this first class hotel. Our stay from the time of arrival to our meals to our departure back to reality (wish we could have stayed longer) was nothing short of exquisite! We were treated like royalty. One of the previous guests described this as a retreat oasis and... More

As the owner of a bed and breakfast in Savannah, Georgia which has quite a reputation for excellence on its own, I think that I can be a harsher reviewer than most because I AM looking for what works (to take home to our inn) and what DOESN'T. It is difficult to pick a starting point when describing the hacienda... More

My wife and I book a room for two nights at this hotel on the hotel's website on February 8, 2013. We gave them our credit card for the booking. We arrived at the hotel at 4pm on February 11th and it was closed. Over a period of two hours we knocked on the door and called the number that... More

First of all I would like to Apologise again to this guest. I, unfortunately, had to be out of town for a family event. I had arranged to pay our Chef double to stay the entire day in order to receive this guest and unfortunately this staff member turned out to be much less trustworthy and honest than expected. This... More

We spent 3 wonderful days at Hacienda del Lago January 25-28. We happened to be the only people staying that weekend, and we chose the Tower because it was romantic, had two terraces, windows in 4 directions and great views. We loved it, other than the nearby roosters who made a lot of noise (earplugs solved this). Tony was terrific... More

We booked the Hacienda even though it was slightly high for our budget. Best decision we ever made! The location is perfect, the place a verdant, gorgeous paradise. Our room, spacious and very comfortable. Our host, Tony, looked after our every need, including throwing a last minute cocktail party for friends in the area, who also were totally impressed with...
