fantastic beach in a small hotel. Great food including fresh fish and grear desserts selfcooked in a Wienese way. Not luxurious but very sweet rooms with charm. If you are NOT into touristy traps can only recommend. We will be back. Claudia and David

El Castillo is the most amazing, gorgeous beach in all of Costa Maya. The property has a good energy feel and very laid back. the beach is swimmable, wide and clean. The food is excellent with fresh fish, seafood and mexican specialties. The rooms are peaceful, just right!

i was in Castillo on June 2008. I and my husband stayed there for 6 days. the caribbean was beautiful and warm, i even didn't care about no hot shower in our room. even bits from chakistas(sand flees) were not so bad. food cooked by Gabriella was good. the beach was cleaned in front of the hotel.
