We have stayed at this Hotel quite a few times when we have been visiting the area and every time we have stayed I cannot fault it - the rooms are absolutely gorgeous with everything you could ask for, The staff are amazing, friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. We have eaten in the restaurant many times... More

Great staff. Friendly & helpful. Very relaxing stay. Rooms large and clean. We had rooms at the back which are definitely the quietest. Food was excellent both at the bar and in the restaurant - I would strongly recommend eating in the restaurant. If I had one criticism (and it relates to SO many hotels) slow closers on the doors... We booked here because of the park and fly package to Luton airport. The room was very nice and adequate for our needs, reception staff was friendly and helpful, taxi booked by the hotel was on time and stress free. However on our return a week later we could not believe the state of our car! Yes we had parked under... More

Didn't try breakfast as we'd been warned off previously. Room neat and clean. Free gummy bears is worthy of an above average rating! WiFi is a bit rubbish... Staff were excellent. Car parking was very poor... More

Have stayed here many times. The staff are great and it is "homely". Sometimes the rooms can be very cold in the winter (heating doesn't come on when you want it) and the hot water is variable - tip: have a shower before 7am. I think they need to get the plumbing sorted basically. TV reception in some rooms is... More

I can't recommend this place enough. Rooms are spacious and have all the facilities you would require. Very comfortable and we had a room at the back so it was very quiet. All the beds are huge. The hotel bar/lounge is cosy and welcoming and do nice bar food. The staff were brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble; friendly, accomodating,... More

Having stayed at this hotel several times previously, I was very disappointed with my last stay. I booked an executive room for my Husband, myself an Granddaughter. The room was totally cramped. There was a king size bed,a double settee bed and a further camp bed. There was just no room. The breakfast ( which used to be included in the room... More

With so many generic hotels these days, it's nice to find one which breaks the mold. The Old Palace Lodge combines Olde World charm and the contemporary extremely well. The rooms are very well appointed and the Executive suite I stayed in was fantastically large with all the creature comforts you expect of a 4/5 star hotel. More

Unbelievable value for money, not just the room the friendly staff or the superb breakfast menu but the way it all came together the moment you arrived in the ample car park. When the office booked this i was expecting the usual remote, tatty at the edges cut price to raise occupancy affair. NO WAY!!! Huge bed, desk with enough... More

Looks great from the outside and big free car park. The bar area is nice with friendly staff. The room was big but cold and I could not turn the heating on but thats probably be being thick. The dining was very nice and I am sure dinner would be good but did not have dinner. Talking about food, breakfast... More
