Stayed over on the easter weekend as i was attending a race experience at silverstone on the sunday. Having read the previous reviews i thought we were going to be in for the weekend from hell but that simply wasnt the case. We arrived at 2pm on the saturday and checked in immediately with no problems. We had booked a... More

DO NOT DO IT! Simply terrible but we did get a refund without a problem on one meal!! Both jacket potatoes were not cooked (not that hard to cook a jacket potatoe!), salad was probably a week old, the fillings in both amounted to about a teaspoon and the ham and cheese melt was simply vile. I doubt very much... More

This is a classic historic Coach House... We stayed here for our honeymoon on Boxing Day. Initially there was a problem with our reservation - they were going to put us in a room with two twin beds... FOR OUR HONEYMOON... lol... I firmly made it clear that that would not work. They made an adjustment to our booking and... More

I didn't stay over here, but did drop in for a meal last night. Just to echo what the reviews have said before, the bar staff aren't that experienced, the bar was sticky, the tables were dirty, the waitresses don't seem to want to be there and have a bit of an attitude. After one of my friends ordered some... More

Stayed over on 24 December 2011. Checked in round 10pm and the bar was really busy. Room was very clean and comfortable except for no remote control for the TV. Overall a great hotel with very comfortable rooms. Lots of stairs and passages to get around but thats expected of an old building. More

Hotel and resturaunt under new managment, where they found these idiots from who knows? landlord only seems worried about filling himself with beer and playng darts, what I'm gathering is the landlady (the large gobby lady occasioally behind the bar) is more concerned with emptying the place of all paying customers rather than getting new custom in, the whole hotel... We had booked this hotel because of the location. As we would only stay one night we survived, but were we to stay longer we'd have left. Upon arrival, which was on a Friday at a busy hour for hotels, nobody was at the reception, so we headed for the bar. The room was old, smelled badly and desperately needed... More

Menu is cheap "Iceland" food, poor quality, no atmosphere to the place, staff are just kids, toilets dirty, no hand dryers working or soap. This place has really gone down hill over the last couple of years. There are better pubs in Buckingham. Not a Family pub. We have been in twice now in a 6 week period, thinking our... More
