Stayed at the hotel for two nights over the Easter weekend.
First great point on the hotel we got a room upgrade to one of the exec suites and it was a marvellous room! Stunning furnishes and a brilliant bathroom. Was positioned above the bar area which was noisy into the small hours on the first night, though we joined...

Stayed in Room 4. Don, the Canadian guy was helpful and friendly. The TV had lots of channels, and the bathroom spacious, although balancing between cold and hot shower could be tricky. The breakfast was marvellous albeit simple. The bar was full the night we stayed there. I would return.

The Bell has a wonderful history and is still a building is partly original with add ons here and there. It has been an amazing place in the past and then changed hands to disaster. More recently it has picked up again with good food and friendly service.
Its a great Christmas venue with its beams and Christmas decorations, I...

Stayed two nights. Staff very friendly and helpful. The inn is over 400 years old but you wouldn't know it. Food was good and served fairly quickly. Good choice of meals. Breakfast also good. We paid £64 per night per room. The same I would have at a Premier Inn, but this felt a far more personal service and the...
