Stayed at the Hunters Lodge a couple of weeks ago; food was excellent and staff went out of their way to accomodate requests. Friendly, helpful people - certainly a lot more enjoyable than staying at identikit corporate hotels. Rooms are well equipped, clean and great value; showers were very powerful! More

Stayed overnight, and proved an excellent choice. Room was well furnished and very comfortable with lovely views and all of the expected amenities. Both evening meal and breakfast were lovely, with lots of choice. The staff were extremely welcoming, helpful and courteous. A great experience all round, and good value for money, too. More

I recently organised a golfing society weekend in Cheshire and we stayed overnight at the Hunters Lodge. Andy and Yvonne were very helpful in assisting with the planning of the stay for 19 of us and in making helpful suggestions. They provided us with a dining area to the back of the building in their function room which was perfectly... More

I recently stayed at The Hunter Lodge as part of an exclusive booking with a golfing party. In previous years we have always stayed at the golf complex but this year we did something different by booking the golf and hotel / restaurant seperately. As an exclusive booking we expected to be able to stay up to whatever time we... More

Have stayed at this hotel several times since my last visit and need to review it again due to a decline in quality. Firstly the food: Overpriced now that they are using cheaper ingredients, although its obvious the chef knows what he is doing which mitigates this somewhat. Staff: Seems to be minimal staff these days, with the receptionist helping... More

I have to say I usually dread this type of event as the food is normally served tepid by inexperienced staff and slowly. I was surprised at the quality of the food and the speed of service , which was done by obviously experienced staff. I am not sure it was the best value for money and the wine was... More

Stayed at The Hunters Lodge one night while on a business trip to England. A very warm and friendly place. The room was typical English style and the bathroom was adequate. The restaurant was excellent for both dinner and breakfast and the staff very friendly and helpful. More

Nobody would ever want to stay for pleasure in Crewe,so except the fact that this is a business hotel. The rooms are very small and certainly single occupancy means just that. However they are clean and adequate. Unfortunately the night I stayed they had a power cut just as 60 people sat down for dinner, so I never got to... More
