It was showing -1 in our car when we arrived at Red Lion at 5pm, shown to room, no heating on, I asked for it to be put on, which was. Carpet in room was grubby, tierd and in need of good hoover. Hairs in bathroom and stain on the one bed spread! Had lovely meal in evening, couldnt fault.... More

The Red lion really is a lovely place to stay and to dine. It is very well mananaged and is consistant in it's cleanliness, good food and hospitality. The Red Lion is very convenient when visiting Oulton Park or the Cheshire Polo Club and not to far away from the beautiful Delemere Forest. Janice & Cliff Owen

We had a very nice two-night stay at this lovely village pub, highlights being a perfect very generous afternoon tea in front of a blazing fire and excellent breakfasts. Photos will show its very pleasant location plus one or two inside shots.
