Well situated for exploring the SE lakes and Kirkstone Pass area up to Ullswater. A quiet location with Parking. We were made very welcome and had an enjoyable stay. The room was comfortable and well equipped (and kept well stocked during our stay). Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of food.

Just returned from a 2 night stay in the Applethwaite Suite. Absolutely delighted with the standard of the accomodation and the hospitality offered. Excellent location - great walks and views, 2 pubs within walking distance serving evening meals. Cannot recommend highly enough!
