we were made welcome from the start. The location is stunning,we found it perfect for daytime walks, followed by very pleasant evenings in comfortable and sociable surroundings. The meals were served promptly and highly recommended!

Lakeland hospitality at its best. Great old inn, excellent unfussy food. Residents lounge with real fire. Free wifi which works. Smallish rooms but clean and perfectly presented. And of course fantastic location. Highly recommend.

This was at least the sixth visit to this Inn set in beautiful Little langdale. So this must say something about the Inn and the area. Good walking for all types. The inn is very cosy and the owners very friendly and helpful.
