We were meant to be staying at a hotel in Thirsk but they lost our booking. My mum, who lives in Thirsk, recommended Long Acre as she's had school friends stay there. They were really accommodating, the room (The Jade family room) was very comfy and the breakfast was tasty.

Stayed for one night and have no bad points to mention. Owner was very friendly and accomodating. breakfast was made to order and very good. U can even say what time you would like breakfast if you have an early start. Would recommend this B&B as well priced and great room.
Me and my husband had occasion to visit Thirsk in North Yorkshire.
I'd never heard of Thirsk before and didn't realise it's connection to horse racing but most people I've spoken to since our visit have heard of it.
