We stayed in cabin 2 for 2 nights- it was glorious to fall asleep to the sounds of the rainforest and wake to a delicious breakfast being served on our balcony. You can immerse yourself in nature as much or little as you like (take the self guided walk starting behind the cabin or head out to masons swimming hole... More

My partner and I stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed every second of our time there! Our cabin was lush and looked out over the flowing river and into amazing trees. Each breakfast was a surprise of exotic fruits and it was great to be able to do the tasting and learn more about it all. The self guided walk... More

We visited this lovely B&B in October 2011 and were not disappointed. The surroundings are magnificent and the hospitality unmatched. The breakfasts were delicious. It's possible to manage without a car, but if your stay is accompanied by very rainy weather, getting places on foot is a very soggy affair.

I did not find the place rustic at all - we had a private cabin/tree house with panormaic windows with screens, clean and crisp linens, great bathroom, living area, and an outside deck with views of the tropical rainforest and a creek. We were secluded, safe, and had a totally unique experience. Breakfast was healthy with tonnes of fruits, juice... More

Our hosts were very polite and helpful at all times, always interesting and friendly to speak with. The fresh fruit provided at breakfast and also during the tasting session (which you should strongly consider joining) is fabulous, you'll taste incredible fruit as fresh as it gets, learn about exotic fruit, just a fantastic experience. We stayed for three days and... More

I absolutely loved staying at the Cape Trib Exotic Fruit farm!. We spent ten nights there and I would have stayed another week if it were possible! Firstly, Alison and Digby were unbelievably helpfuly and knowledgable - their breakfasts were sensational, as we sat in our treehouse in the middle of a rainforest. I just loved it, what can I... In order to book one of Alison and Digby's lovely cottages one pays the whole amount in advance only on line. They have two cabins which Digby built himself and which are almost identical. As they are so popular, with good reason, I decided to book early. The ventilation of the cottage was so well done that the cottage seemed... More

Surrounded by the rainforest and fruit farm this cute little tree house (1 of only 2 that they have) was a lovely retreat. A bit of luxury (lovely bed linen, awesome breakfast, v clean all around) with a taste of adventure (no blinds for front windows, sounds of the rainforest all night). The fruit aspect was fun too, we had... More

When we booked we weren't sure whether to spend longer in Port Douglas or here, but the discount for longer stays (and Alison's suggestion) convinced us to stay longer here. So glad we did! We booked 4 nights but could easily see ourselves staying weeks just avoiding all modern communications and soaking up the sounds of the rainforest. This place... More
